Meet Grace Womack
Grace Womack is a therapist who is deeply committed to the power of connection and self-discovery. Born and raised in Nashville, Grace earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee and her Master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trevecca University. She is passionate about creating a space where clients feel safe and understood.
Grace views therapy as a collaborative journey that invites exploration, healing, and growth. In therapy, Grace invites her clients to explore areas of their lives where they feel “stuck.” Grace believes that clients are often stuck in patterns that were developed in childhood in an attempt to meet the child’s needs for safety and security. While these strategies or patterns were once helpful for the child, Grace helps her clients identify how these patterns are now in the way of connection with themselves and others. In therapy, Grace works with clients to explore these patterns, uncover limiting beliefs, and gently guide clients toward healing and transformation.
Grace believes that we are all innately designed for meaningful relationships with ourselves, others, and God. She believes that therapy is most effective/powerful when a safe, nonjudgmental space is created for this deep work.
Grace is dedicated to helping her clients find healing and peace by utilizing a blend of trauma-informed, attachment-based, and person-centered approaches. Grace is excited to walk alongside adolescents, men, and women as she helps them navigate a variety of life’s complexities such as:
